Looking for Creative Wedding photos with a Nostalgic Soul?

Film Inspired Wedding Photography for the modern couple.

You're looking for more than just a photo. You want wedding portraits that feel like art—timeless, cinematic, and full of emotion. You’re drawn to the classic feel of film photography but love the richness of bold color. You want imagery that tells a story beyond the moment, the kind that makes you feel something every time you look back on it. Whether it’s nostalgic tones, editorial flair, or moody golden light, you’re searching for a photographer who truly understands your vision and can bring it to life.

I’m dedicated to capturing wedding days with authenticity and artistry. My work is created for couples who value real moments and timeless beauty. With a background in graphic design, I blend intentional composition with natural emotion to create imagery that is both striking and organic. My goal is to deliver more than photos—I want to give you an experience and images that reflect your love for each other with depth and soul.

I have always been drawn to the art of storytelling. The past 10+ years of my career, I have pursued the art of storytelling through visual design working in advertising and art direction. But there is something about capturing a single, perfectly framed moment that has always felt the most powerful. My love for photography started with an old Nikon DSLR and nature. Chasing golden light and alligators through Paynes Prairie. Either on foot or on kayak. Searching for the in-between moments that make an image feel alive.

Over the years, I've refined my style into something timeless yet modern, cinematic yet intimate. Portraits that don't just capture a face, but a whole mood. I started this business for couples who crave more than posed perfection. Whether you’re after an editorial edge, a vintage film aesthetic, or a creative concept that feels straight out of a dream, I’m here to make it happen.

How would you describe your photography style?

My work is film-inspired but color-true. Which means images that feel nostalgic and timeless without the orange-and-teal filter treatment you've probably seen everywhere. I shoot with intention rather than quantity. I shoot for you, not for social media. I'm drawn to the quiet moments between the big ones: the way someone looks at their partner mid-laugh, the way light falls across a veil. I also love experimenting with analog film. When I shoot with film, I get more creative and look for symmetry, light, contrast. Details that freeze movement and feel more alive with grain. If you want your wedding album to feel more like classic film both in digital and true analog, if you want memories that will only sing a special tune for you, and not the algorithm, we're probably a great fit.

What's your experience shooting weddings in Tampa Bay?

I have been shooting weddings across Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Sarasota for over a year now. Which means I know the light, the sunsets, the sunrises, and the venues. I know where the Golden hour hits Clearwater Beach, which streets in Ybor have the elegant architecture, and which corners and Armature Works are worth exploring before reception starts. That local knowledge matters on your wedding day, because I'm not figuring out logistics, I'm focused on you.

I also serve Gainesville, the 30A area of the Florida Panhandle, and New Orleans with travel included. So if you're in these regions and are still interested in working with me, reach out!

What do couples say about working with you?

The thing I hear most is that couples forgot I was there, and mean it as the highest compliment. I'm a quiet, calm presence on a loud, emotional day. I'm not directing a photoshoot; I'm documenting your story. I do give gentle direction during portraits so you feel confident and look natural, but otherwise my job is to disappear into the background and come back with images that make you feel everything you felt that day all over again. I know photos are important, but my priority on your wedding day is to make sure you feel in the moment. So if you want to skip sunset photos last minute, that's totally okay with me. If you're a little tired after ceremony and need a snack before family portraits, I'll wait until you're fed. My top two priorities are: beautiful photos, and a stress free couple.

How do you help couples who are nervous in front of the camera?

I tell every couple the same thing at the start: I don't need you to know how to pose. I need you to know how to be with each other. My job is just to document what's already there. For portraits, I give simple, low-stakes direction: "lean into each other," "tell them something you'd never say at a dinner table", so you're reacting and laughing and being real instead of standing stiff and waiting for the shutter. By the end of an engagement session, most couples say they actually had fun. And that's the goal.

What's life like outside of weddings?

I'm a born and raised 8th generation Floridian, which means I have a complicated and deeply affectionate relationship with this state. The heat, the storms, the dangerous beauty of it all . . . and I care a lot about protecting it. Florida's natural landscape is genuinely vast and stunning if you slow down enough to notice it, and it influences the way I see light and color in my work more than I can even begin to explain.

At home, I share my space with my timber wolf, Bella — yes, an actual timber wolf — which tells you basically everything you need to know about me. I'm drawn to things that are a little wild, a little unconventional, and completely themselves. I think that's why I connect so well with couples who aren't looking for algorithm consumed, cookie-cutter wedding photos. If you're the kind of people who do things your own way, we're going to get along just fine.
